Veros Real Estate Solutions, a risk management and valuation service based in California, recently ranked the Dallas Real Estate market in the top five projected strongest U.S. markets.  The Dallas real estate market, ranked #2, is expected to experience approximately 2.7% growth over the next quarter, due in most part to housing affordability.  First time home buyers, repeat home buyers, and investors are taking advantage of record low prices and interest rates while they last.  Even though many home owners are holding off to place their property on the market, home buyers in Dallas still have a large pool of short sale, foreclosure and new construction inventory to shop.  Prices on homes in Dallas are starting to show stability and signs of appreciation which has many buyers jumping off the fence to secure a property before the seller’s market returns.

The Dallas Morning News recently reported Dallas pre owned home sales increased 12.38% in August compared to 2009.  Many of the areas surrounding Dallas also experienced an increase in existing homes sales over previous year transactions including Fort Worth at 14.9%, Irving at 20.32%, and Garland at 20.77%. Texas markets seems to be performing and growing much better and faster than other local real estate markets around the U.S, especially specific markets in California and Florida.  For more information on the projected strongest and weakest real estate markets around the U.S, check out Veros Real Estate Solutions.
