According to the National Association of Realtors, pending homes sales rose 5.3% to 102.9 in March.  Sales were attributed a rush to take advantage of the home buyer tax credit, but still point toward a strong second quarter growth.   A more accurate market depiction is expected in the coming months with the expiration of the home buyer tax credit.  If pending home sales and prices continue to increase or level out in the second half of 2010, consumer confidence should remain strong and the real estate market will be even furthur down the road to recovery.
