renovation in the old Sears Catalog Building! These lofts have spectacular
panoramic views, exposed brick, polished cement & hardwood maple flooring

Cedar Park Lofts
Cedar Park is comprised of four buildings built between 1895 and 1927. The
corner building, the oldest, was a grocery with an upstairs apartment for
the owner. Next door was a harness shop built in 1918. To the south, the
Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) built a grocery in 1927, which
subsequently became a church, a roller rink and a honky-tonk. The 3-story
apartment building was built in two stages: the ground floor retail
(cleaners, druggist, coffee shop, etc.) was built in 1922 and two more
stories with 18 apartments were added in 1927. The fourth building, a
garage, looks like 1920s construction. The complex now has 11 lofts and four
commercial spaces.
Cedar Park residents enjoy gated, remote-access garage
parking absolutely free. All Cedar Park residents receive complimentary
membership to Old City Park, a fascinating living historical museum with
picnic areas, a jogging trail, and animal/agricultural exhibits.
Cedars Corner
Cedars Corner was built just before World War I in an area between downtown
Dallas and an exclusive residential enclave called The Cedars. The second
floor contained a commercial hotel catering to salesmen, and the ground
floor was home to the "Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company" (A&P) grocery
store. A barbershop and drug store filled the rest of the retail spaces. In
the 1980s, the then-empty ground floor was converted to open loft space. The
building now represents one of Dallas' few remaining early 20th
century mixed-use buildings.
Cedars Corners residents enjoy gated, remote-access parking,
an elevated deck in the back and free on-site laundry facility.
Residents also receive complimentary membership to Old City Park, a
fascinating living historical museum with picnic areas, a jogging trail, and
animal/agricultural exhibits.
City Park Lofts
Built between 1923 and 1935 as the NuGrape Bottling Company,
retail storefronts and the Ervay Street Theatre, City Park Lofts was
purchased and renovated by the Bennett Miller Company in 1983. The property
has had several updates, the most recent in 1998. A notable fact about this
property is that 1715 S. Ervay was the site of Jack Ruby's first night club,
the "Silver Spur." Ruby lived upstairs at 1717 S. Ervay and operated the
theater.
City Park residents enjoy gated, remote-access parking, a
roof-top deck with a great view of downtown, a ground-level deck with
misting system and free basic cable. Covered parking also available.
All residents receive complimentary membership to Old City Park, a
fascinating living historical museum with picnic areas, a jogging trail, and
animal/agricultural exhibits.
